B & W evolved from a stellar foundation created by
Blunt Solutions. Blunt is a thriving business solutions company founded in
2002, with whom we maintain a collaborative relationship. Over time B & W
emerged from the evident need for a new kind of leader in commerce, government
and communities.
We see leadership as the primary power
human beings have. Not the musty, dusty old view of leadership based on being
the boss and calling all the shots leaving others languishing in the mire of
compliance and servitude.
In fact, in our eyes, leadership itself is as a form
of service. It’s about inspiring others, being truthful, finding ways to
nurture and nourish others’ potential and creating an environment in which all
people can be leaders.
Limiting ideas relating to leadership have been
costing the world for millennia. Given our team’s success as leaders and
passion for leadership in the corporate, not-for-profit, and government world
we feel ideally suited to fill this need. To do so we created B & W, a
holding company with two subsidiaries:

At GAL, our experiential programs, skills
trainings, ground-breaking facilitation and online self-mastery tools, centre
on illuminating who you are and why you do what you do.
We explore who you are within your teams
and organisation and how your culture reinforces this. Simultaneously, key leverage
points within systems and individuals are unearthed through education, guided
enquiry, dialogue, deep exploration and experiential training.
Primarily created for individuals and teams
within medium to large organisations we also provide services for the expansive

ILM exists to ensure the development of

Through our partnerships we support LEAPPP,
a leadership oriented NGO that builds on the work of the Institute of Advanced
Leadership. With a history of playing an
impactful role in the resolution of extreme conflict, LEAPPP is primarily
focused on working with leaders of all sides in war torn countries to encourage
the possibility of peace through transformative trainings.
Over time, we anticipate it will also take
a position of leadership inside of the NGO community, providing free trainings
in critical and lateral thinking, teamwork, creativity, dialogue and vision.
Likewise, it will run similar programs for the indigenous community, providing
a platform for them to further empower themselves.
